ENGAGE YOUR COMMUNITY VIRTUAL WORKSHOP
This better way to begin the new year is to create goals and engage our neighbors and community in our orchard. The Giving Grove and Kansas City Community Gardens will host a workshop to help recruit neighborhood support for our orchard, with a tool called Asset-Based Community Development.
The Workshop has two sessions, one on Saturday, Jan 23, 2021 at 10 a.m., the second on Thursday, Jan. 28, 2021 at 6 p.m.
In this workshop the leader will customize an engagement strategy for our orchard based on its location within our surrounding community and discuss ways to cultivate relationships within our neighborhood. This workshop is the first step to reach our growing goals like sharing our harvest, recruiting volunteers, educating the community, and more.
To find out how to register call the Giving Grove at 816-931-3877.
